The rules on judicial cooperation

The private international law rules currently in force in Italy are set out in different sources of law. Alongside the Italian domestic rules, i.e. those provided for by the Italian legal order sources of law, there are international conventions a) in force in Italy and b) in force in the European Union, and European Union legal acts.

The main legislative texts containing rules dealing with private international law and judicial cooperation in civil matters can be found throughout the hypertext links referred to this section.
